Matt Eggert has worked in crime labs in both California and Oregon for more than fifteen years in the areas of: controlled substance analysis, biological screening, field investigations, latent print analysis, trace evidence analysis, and firearms databasing. He will be discussing how forensic scientists leverage the interaction of light with physical evidence in a multitude of ways to aid the criminal justice system
