Sleepless Like Light is created for the festival by choreographer Heidi Duckler and fabric artist Mimi Haddon. Inspired by "The Chandelier" a novel written by Clarice Lispector, this duet is performed by two dancers who move like shadows within illuminated cages beneath a disco ball of refracted light. The levels of light and shadow are transcendent representations of our external and internal worlds living in the universe.
