Imagine if you could mount a human-driven electric power generating device, which would allow you to light up a world of possible dreams, right in front of you. Your world of dreams with oversize flowers, orbs, creatures, and a huge caterpillar, whose segments light up individually as your power production increases. You can work as a team to try to light up the whole world with multiple devices all contributing! Julia Alora and Jan Carpenter are two Portland sculptoress creating new ways to energize art in active participation with community, building in education, while experiencing our art installation as a graphic measurement of people producing their own electricity.
