Crystalis is a sculpture of acrylic, projected light and sound. Conceived by Portland sculptor Martin Eichinger and architect Terry Amundson, it combines form, light, sound and viewer imagination. It is about transfiguration and rebirth, a conceptual narrative addressing emergence and change.
The 5 foot tall central pod of five translucent panels creates a 3D illusion of movement with projected light. Projections include a dancer and a series of abstract visuals. The hypnotic effect mesmerizes viewers as they walk around the structure.
Eichinger Sculpture Studio creates sculptural experiences as bronzes figures, science-based exhibits, and electronic installations. His sculptures inspire curiosity and dialog. Koble Creative emphasizes an integrated team-oriented approach within their architectural practice to produce immersive, functional experiences.
