Chromata is large light-emitting panel that is akin to an abstract painting that continuously repaints itself. Chromata swims with an ever-changing, never-the-same-twice tableau of color and darkness. Viewers can directly interact with the piece through an interactive kiosk that lets them control the colors and symmetry of the piece, all while it continuously changes.
The artist Bryan Ressler is a Seattle-area new media artist and musician who is keenly interested in creating works that explore the intersection of technology and art with a special interest in organic aspects of light.
